Silly bands (the shaped rubber bands you wear on your wrist) Cool or Yesterday’s News?
I noticed these things were listed as the “best sellers” over and over again on amazon.com. They have shapes like disney princesses, so I am guessing this is “in” with the elementary school scene.
Is this the current little girl collectable, like Jelly shoes and charm bracelets in the 80′s? Or has the silly band fad already come and gone? Do boys wear these bands (not disney princess of course), or is it a girl only thing?
I saw a lot of girls at my middle school have them. (I’m going into 9th grade so this was my 8th grade year.) It’s not just for little girls. I’m not sure if it’s yesterday’s news or what because it was like the last month of school I saw them coming up. So I’m not sure if they faded during the summer. I saw some little girls around 8 with them but…
If you like them get them. I personally, they look kinda weird shaped on your wrists. But they’re pretty cool, I guess.
